If anything, unsprung are MUCH more reliable in high whp applications that sprung. With sprung hubs, the disks tend to pop springs out with harsh shifting and it can grenade your PP and CD.

YOu can get a good grabby CD and a soft PP so you can have "ease of driving it around town".
