    Default Help: 1998 Ex Coupe

    Car : 1998 Civic EX

DLC ( Data link connector )/ OBD II connector , does not respond to any scanners . Including the one at the emissions place. The scanners that were used are not battery operated , once the scanners were plugged in they wouldn't power. I checked use 27 for the cigarette lighter , it was fine. Because of the DLC not working i can't diagnose the car nor get emissions done. Any help would be great IA.

i had this problem on my truck the dealer ended up having to fix it and they did a piss poor job. for your issue i dont think they are the same issues. go back check all your wires for the dlc port.
