Default Replacing axles: One only or both?

The car is a 1999 Honda Prelude SH

I was doing an oil change on my car and noticed the left inner cv boot is torn. There was grease gathering around the area. The left inner boot of the tie rod is also torn. The right side tie rod boot and axle looks fine.

I've done an axle replacement before with the help of my coworker, but I don't have much experience in this area.

Should I or should I not go ahead and replace both side? The car is jacked up right now in the garage. I'm not in a hurry to fix it.

mine tore last year and i did both CV boots. Only one was torn but i did both b/c it's a damn messy job. The smart thing to do is do one to save money and replace what is broken.
