    Default anyone know how to remove pin stripping?

    just wondering if anyones got some personal experience removing pin stripping off a car. any help would be appreciated . thanks!

    theres some kind of eraser tool that is supposed to work.. big round eraser that you put on your drill.. then clean, polish and wax.. just have to be careful

    GOO-GONE works insanely well. just peel off the striping and use the goo gone to get rid of the goo.

    so goo gone does work? i hurd it might but i wasnt sure. is there a difference in using it on painted on pin stripes or vinyl pin strips?

    get it warm with a blow dryer or heat gun and peel it right off

    blow dryer sucks ass, def get a heat gun, be careful not to melt the paint off the car. peel off then.. goo gone then wax it

    i didnt really meamn blow dryer but i know not everyone owns a heat gun!

    painted pin stripes are painted on the car your not gonna get it off unless you use lacquer thiner and even then your gonna screw up the paint job. all other pin stripes are a vinyl sticker and you should be able to pull it off and with time and patience get the residue off with goo gone. they also make a rubber eraser body shops use, but be careful if you stay in one spot too long you will mess the paint job up.
