little help please

ok i got a em1 and on the window wiper control (dont know the name of it sorry) thats on the right side of the stearing column it all works except the delay function. my question is, is there a fuse maby that went out or do i need a whole new wiper control thing thanks

the wiper still works but the delay doesnt.

yes i can push it down and it does the normal 1 swipe. i can set it on delay and nothing i can set it on speed 1 and speed 2 both work and the wiper fluid works im not sure if when you do the wiper fluid the wipers are supost to go back and fourth because they dont it just sprays the fluid and then i have to turn on one of the speeds and make it clear off the fluid. is that to confusing?

that rules out the fuse. id check the switch and relay.

the wiper speed is not controlled by a switch or relay....there is a variable resistor/ potentiometer inside that wiper controller assembly on your steering wheel....and there are two transistors...1 for the 2 speed and 1 for the "delayed" speed....it's a hassle to change if you dont know what you are doing ...so it's probably easier to get another one if not having a delay wiper really bothers you that much......
