yep, the y7 block is the same as a y8, i know y8 internals will fit in it perfectly. there is a y8 head and vtec solnoid on here for like $50 so there is a start. then you boost but not too much unless you wanna build the motor every 30k miles. i built a motor a few years ago and we used a y7 block, y8 crank, pistons, rods etc and bolted a y8 dead on it no problem. there are plenty of write ups and most of us can give good advice too. the head plus a p2p ecu and a couple of wires ran and presto you have a good start bro. then add boost and convert to obd-1 and have it chipped and tuned.![]()
