    Default D16Z6 swap?

Well the four door finally went after i spent all that money on it. Now I have to get a new motor and i was wondering how hard would it be to do a Z6 swap in it? What all will I need and can I use my cv axles out of the stock motor?

What year is it? if it is a 92 you have vtec wired to the strut tower plug already, but your MAP sensor will be on the firewall unlike the ex which is on the throttle body, so the harness will be different. But you could still use your stock MAP sensor and leave the z6 one in place to cover its hole. You can use the z6 harness no problem IF your car is a 92.

You can still use it if you wire up the pinouts to the correct pin on the strut tower plug also. Really easy swap.
