    Well guys I'm kind of wanting to a little two-toneish...

    I'm wanting to do a black hood with matching mirrors...

    Question is: Should I do a satin black finish with satin black mirrors or a glossy black hood with glossy black mirrors.

    i think the satin black for both hood and mirrors would be a nice offset to all the red.

    I think satin black would look better of the two as glossy black would just be too blingy and fast and furious IMO. I'd probably rather do the roof in black than the hood/mirrors.

    gonna say the same thing i did on FB WRAP it in vinyl, it still looks as good, but its also reversible if you hate it later on! so satin black.

    I don't know what look you are going for. The only thing I can think of is a race car. So I would go with a gloss black windshield banner, black center wing, black mirrors. I wouldn't do the black hood cus that would look dumb and make it seem you can't afford CF so you got it painted.

    Which is pretty much impossible. So i took my roommates EVO 8 and got the center of his wing gloss black. Looks sexy as hell.

    Don't do it if you're only going to do the hood and mirrors; keep the car one color. If your going to do the roof and trunk as well then I guess I'd have to say gloss black. I would only do satin if the rest of the car was satin to flow with it. Just my .02.

    Wrap just looks like shit. Oh, and the Matte/Satin look is retarded. Be creative if you are going to do that. At Sema in 08, there was a Matte orange Subaru STi and I forgot what else was matte, but matte blue. So sexy.

    Honestly if it was up to me, it is either to do the roof black or bust. I wouldn't paint the hood. Painted mirrors may go well with a painted roof but I'm not quite sure as I've never really seen a 2-tone Evo.

    I think a black roof and the center part of the wing black would look pretty sleek.

    not if someone knows what there doing. i've seen some pretty good ones. hell a hood wouldn't be hard at all. and you could paint the mirror's, i would even try to wrap those.
