Tranny problems............
Oh ok I have a 97 coupe 5speed wit a 98 tranny i just replace the clutch,flywheel, shift linkage, and shaft seals.......!! Oh ya the set up is D-series non vtec........... Well my problem is first gear no matter how much gas you give it drives real sluggish even when you down shift into first... Ever other gear rides fine... 1st gear is the only one it dont pop out or anything or it isnt hard to shift into.......... I cant figure it out need help.........????

Why'd you replace everything? Did you replace with stock stuff? What's it do in neutral?
The clutch was slipping and flywheel had hot spots the shift linkage bk bushing had wore out

Sounds strange. You may have to take the tranny out to figure it out. Just make sure its not engine related before you yank it out.
if u havin tranny problems i feel bad for u son, i got 99 problems but a tranny definitely aint one
maybe the shift linkage isnt set right?
mmm did you just get the car? Did it drive fine in 1st before the clutch job? When was the tranny swapped?
You did put in new throw out bearing and pilot bearing right?
