knock sensor if it has vtec or oil pressure sensor.... how many wires are going to it?
no vtec... I am not sure I will have to check it out later. It is actually detached!! Noticed it when I was under there changing the oil.

It is the oil pressure switch. I have seen a few cars come in for oil changes at our shop that the oil pressure switch is disconnected.

your car may not tell you when your out of oil and bye bye motor, i would think a CEL would be on but i could be wrong. i have a repair manual for your car because it's the same for my car, i'll check it out but i would have it hooked up, if your oil pump were to go you would have no idea that no oil was getting where it needed too. i can't imagine people disconnecting these and not plugging it back in, what an ass thing to do.
