dude they stole the ecu! that sucks man! Ok to make sure I understand:

You have an obd2a car, and have an obd2b ecu. You want to know if, with a jumper harness, it will work. right?

where do these exist, except from japan maybe. there was no such thing as a 96-98 SI which means there was no obd-2a si ecu, unless it is from japan and you can verify it's not an obd-1 ecu.

if your running b-series go obd-1 and get a p30 ecu, an si ecu is obd2-b and they are not that expensive ($50-$60). they may have an abd-2a to obd2-b conversion harness but i'm not sure. ask batlground he sells the conversion harness or look on ebay for shits and giggles.
