    Default Fuel sock

If I have a 255 fuel pump, but the sock doesn't reach the bottom of the tank ( between 1/2 and 1/4 tank it won't suck up fuel) can I use a stock sock or are they specific to the flow rate? Like is a 255 sock different than the stock or is the pump the only difference?

you can use either sock, but the real question is, why isn't the sock working for you thats on the 255 ? is it the right pump for your car ?

I can get it for you tomorow. Might need to shoot me a reminder pm in the am. There are different socks for different cars. The sock should be parallel to the bottom of the tank. The pump should be able to pickup most of the fuel without "running out" at 1/4 tank.

Bump. Any ideas on how to fix this? Really sucks to have to re-fill @ 1/2 tank all the time.

sounds like someone installed it wrong, or it's the wrong part for that chassis. Take it back out and see....
