Dealership Question??? FAKE Emission???

Ok, so my mom bought a 2001 Daewood Nubira from a small dealership down in Canton. I told her not a buy it because DAEWOOD is a piece if shit. She tells me she won't and come home in it!!!! I'm furious!!!!

Now the thing is that the car has a check engine light, rides like shit, need an aligment(lady said it had one) and is ugly as hell!!

***CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON FROM THE DEALER!!!!

The women at the dealer tell my mom not to worry about the emission because she would take care of it. CEL is on.. I guessing she paid under the table which is illegal!!!!

I get home, look at the car and start it. The CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON!!!! I believe a dealers shouldn't sell a car that doesnt pass emission.

I mad as hell because they ripped my mom off!!!! What can i do? Can i ask for my money back? Use the Fake emission against her and tell her i'm taking her to court?

Does canton have emmisions? Or the county you live in? If it does and they sold a car that won't pass emissions, take them to court...

I don't no where the emission was done because we didn't do the emission on it.

What city/county is the dealer located in...? Actually regardless, they can't sell a car that can't pass emmisions.

I think the emission was done somewhere in canton because they told my sister to print it online. We've been calling them and get no answer so yea I think im taking them to court.
