Dealership Question??? FAKE Emission???

Take it and get it checked out. Get emissions done, and take the "dealership" she bought it from all the invoices on everything. Make them refund her the money, as they "took care of emissions". Check engine light could be several different things.

Sorry forgot to put that info. It already has emission. But the dealer sold it with a CEL. I went down to AutoZone and got it checked out. It came up to be the Camshaft Position Sensor. Got a quote and was little over $100. The thing is we don't want the car.

Well, take it back. Tell them there is such a thing called a Lemon Law. Tell them you're not happy and will be contacting BBB (betterbusiness bureau)

amen, not to mention the state about fraud on emissions and many other things. a dealer in a county that has emissions i think has to have their cars pass emissions before selling them, i'm not sure of the rules because i dont have them in barrow county yet.
