hmm. i have non retro-fitted headlights with HID bulbs.

is your car lowered? are you lower than the truck? exactly. its not the HIDS, its the fact that they were shining straight into your window. it would have happened with regular headlights.

raise your car up and quit crying.

P.S. i think i know that guy. does he have matching HID fog lights also?

Well my car comes stock with HIDs. When I changed my bulbs to aftermarket bulbs, I had parked that car in one spot and observed where the top of the beam was shining on my garage wall. I installed one side, and I notice a big difference in where the aftermarket beam was aimed compared to the other OEM side.

    (BTW these are cheap bulbs)

This difference is definitely noticable when my car is parked no more than 2-3 feet away from the wall. Imagine if your car was 50 feet away, the beam is going to be shining right into your eyes, let alone I could probably put a lot of glare onto a lot of the truck drivers and such.

It's not that it's our car is too low (though I gotta admit some people are just rediculously low) but more that the aftermarket bulbs that people buy are aimed differently and then they don't take the 10 mins it takes to aim them and test them out on the roads. I'm trying to say that it definetly would NOT happen with regular stock headlights. I don't think the solution is to raise our cars, but to get the drivers to fix their headlights.

One more thing, as the driver behind the HIDs, you can def tell the difference between HIDs that're aimed too high and HIDs that're aimed properly.
