    Default Frying ECU's

My buddy of mine has an EK hatch with a H22 swap in it. Well he keeps telling me that his car keeps frying computers. He dont know what the problem is and neither do I. So I was wondering if someone could help, or tell me what the problem is. Thanks

mixed up wiring/plugs is really a big deal. Either that or no grounds on the engine. But I would take the harness apart, and look that shit out.

^Thats probably the problem then... I would tell your buddy just to start over, thats usually the easiest thing when it comes to wiring and even more so he doesn't have to keep buying ecu's...

You got positive power running back to the ecu on a ground wire vise-versa

what exactly is burning up in the ecu? if it's just 1 or 2 specific circuits then more than likely there are a couple plugs pluged in to the wrong sensors (happens a lot, especially w/ the 2 wire plugs). the ecu may be salvageable/fixable.

Well he didn't really tell me what was frying in the ecu. He just said that ecu is frying. But I talked to him and he said he is just going to get a new wiring harness.

Make sure you figure out what is actually frying the ecus before you install the new harness. It would be a shame to short out the new harness.
