Default 88 Civic Hatch Lowering Help

If this doesn't belong here, I'm sorry! Don't hurt me...

Anyways, I've found a set ot TEIN S-Tech springs that were on an 89 Civic Sedan. According to TEIN's website, these springs will not work on an 88 due to the fork in the rear. Everywhere else that has these springs for sale, sale them by listing them as fitting on an 88-91 Civic. Has anyone actually installed these springs or know what TEIN is talking about? I haven't lowered an EF, so, not sure what they mean by rear fork.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks guys and gals!

I dont think the springs will make a difference, the mounts on the bottom of the struts at the LCA are different. The springs should work no problem.

At least this guy actually gives REPs back for people answering his question lol. Most people in general tech dont even say thanks or acknowledge responses.
