    Default 1998 Supercharger v6 Camaro

Okay I am wondering where I could find a Vector Performance/Powerdyne kit for 1995-2002 3.8 or if a vortect supercharger would be adaptible for my 3800 build? I would also like to know what else I would have to do to my motor I have a full exhaust, I am about to buy a cold air intake and a stand alone computer for it. Also what type of cam and size full injecters should I go with? I am not wanting to put down no more than 400 b/c i just want to fix my dd but i want it to have a bit more get up go just to have the power. plz help I have been googleing for two years trying to figure stuff out about doing this the camaro finnaly broke down so while i have the motor out i want to do all this.

My buddy has an 2000 V6 and he wanted to do the blower from the Grand Prix GTP's... But he said that they have lower compression then the camaros do, and I think a little different cam... I would check on the specs from those motors and go from there on your build....

Try www.intense-racing.com they have 3800 fbodys running in the 8s. IMO, the supercharger, even with a cam, etc will probly only give you 300whp, powerdynes belt driven kits are sh!tty and max out at 12psi. If you serious about it i would reccommed going with a single t360-1 turbo or something, then your 400whp goal can be achieved. You wont hit 400whp in a 3800 camaro with a powerdyne..
Give them a call and you can go as fast as you need to as long as you have the chee$e.

See the mustang in my sig? Yeah, it was a 4.0L V6. Bored, forged pistons, D1SC Procharger 18psi, 35 wet shot and meth. Still was nowhere near what a v8 would have if they put the same amount of money in it.

Well of course not, but u have to buy the V8 then, most people build the V6's to match or beat the V8's that are stock or lightly modded....... If that was the case I would have a V8 and not a little 4 Banger with the mad vtec yo

I am driving a little 4 banger right now with 430 AWHP. Nothing wrong with it. The V6 is just a very BAD idea unless u OWN a shop and can fab up anything you like.

look for a 98-99 buick regal gs. they had a eaton supercharger from the factory. Once you find that, call Harold at ultradyne cams. he is the guy who designed the voodoo line of cams for lunati. He can cut you a good split duration cam for the supercharger. get some good bowl blending and port work and you have a nifty little street car
