Do they enforce tint laws on headlights in the Metro atl?
Do they enforce tint laws on headlights in the Metro atl?
its always been illegal to tint your head/tail lights. 50-100 ticket
its just one of those thing, if the cop is a jackass then he'll give you a ticket
thx for the input.
If you have to ask if they enforce it I assume you know it is illegal. Just remember cops have bad days and will nit pic small shit. So there is always a chance.
won't last 10 miles in this city...............
why in the hell do you want to tint your headlights, wont that make it harder to see at night in the rain esp since they are there to help you. get some headlights like mine, install an HID kit from nitro and call it a day, then it looks dark but you can see 75% better at night.

Man it would have set my black on black theme off. Oh well
Forget all of your counties Dekalb County is the worse of them all! Believe me when I say that they would serve you a ticket buy the time you drove out of your neighborhood we have a new rule in our county that if they catch you speeding they wont take your license, instead the just add $200 to your ticket
This has got to be the dumbest idea I've heard in a while. Let us know when you're parting out your wrecked car. Hopefully you won't kill anyone but yourself....

40-8-22 (d) "The headlights required by this Code section shall be maintained in proper working condition and shall not be covered by any type of material, provided that the covering restriction shall not apply to any vehicle on which the original factory headlights were covered."
40-8-26 (b) "Every brake light shall be plainly visible and understandable from a distance of 300 feet to the rear both during normal sunlight and at nighttime, and every signal light or lights indicating intention to turn shall be visible and understandable during daytime and nighttime from a distance of 300 feet from both the front and the rear. When a vehicle is equipped with a brake light or other signal lights, such light or lights shall at all times be maintained in good working condition. No brake light or signal light shall project a glaring or dazzling light."
as for headlights, all of my police friends say they are 100% against and will pull you over.. as others have said, tints on the headlight is very dumb, hope you dont do this.. consider the black housing...
so im assuming that taillight tints should be fine as long they aren't stupid dark... you can get light tints, which i don't know will get you the result you want... or you can spend a little more and get a new housing which has black in it...
Tinted headlights idea has been abandoned. I'll just focus on the cool stuff like FMIC and TB exhaust.
