    Default engine rebuilt

    much much is it normally to get your head and block machined? and place where they do the job.
    also how much it normally cost to bore a engine out, bore 1.8 to 2.0
    pretty much a b18b1

    please no stupid answer (ex: just buy a b20 )

    Ball Engine in lilburn can do it.

    but from any shop your lookin at around 3-400

    place down here will clean, check surfacing($10, additional $40 if needs resurfacing). 3 angle valve job, install new valve stem seals for $225-250. they will replace valve guides for $5 a guide if you provide them.

    well what i was planning to do was buy everything and take it to a good shop to build.
    planning to spend around 1.5k on this build. going to build for ls boost
    looking for 250-300horse
    not going to go crazy on it. trying to stay rebuilt stock internal boost since b181b is already low compression

    just a recommendation, take it to the shop and then buy everything. That way you know you're getting parts that work, and you support the shop thats doing the work. chances are the prices are the same.

    You reside in winder. there's a shop called import experts on hwy 29. heard they do a good job there.
