    i rode on stock struts with a almost a 3in. drop for like 2 years and never blow out.

    tein s techs are usually have softer spring rates than stock spring rates, so if you use them on your stock struts you will have a very bouncy ride, which equates to not handling so good...

    Do things right the first time and you will never have to worry about it again. Save $$$ and get full coilovers, it's the only way to go.
