    Default hey

same thing here but with an s80 transmission, mine felt like it took a huge dump today and now when i let go of the clutch it feels like it is in gear and it just stalls out as if it were in 5th gear or something.

I had the same exact problem on my gsr tranny. It could be the front input shaft bearing thats going out, if that doesnt fix it then the gears might be fucked up. I replaced the bearing in my tranny and it was still making noise. Then we found out the gears were out so I had to replace the whole transmission. I would just get a good used cheap tranny unless you can do it yourself.

Hope this helps you and good luck

You could go either gsr tranny or si tranny to upgrade. They are both stronger then the ls tranny, gsr the strongest of 2. The downside is that they both are shorter in gears and get less gas mileage. Also you wouldnt get much of high end power with the ls motor cuz its low power and good amount of torque. If ur going to do a lot of highway driving then stick with ls tranny. If not, well you can have fun with gsr or si tranny.
