Thread: easiest way to take off crank pulley bolt?

    There is usually a slot on the block behind the pulley for you to wedge something to keep it from moving.

    you can't go wrong with the crankshaft damper tool...it is what it's made for. The only purpose it have in life is to alleviate your ability to remove crank bolts. I got my from amazon and some of the sellers will get it to you in a day or 2
