    was reading post by rep source b21 crank can work in b18a any truth to this

    wow i never thought of that.... but i can tell you how to find out...

    search part numbers for crank bearings on the b18a and b blocks and on the b20 and see if they cross reference..... ebay should work...


    btw i have a destroked b18 in my setup

    well from what i got from the post there was machining that needed to be done so i guess no matching on the bearings i cant seem to find much info on google lol but this thread is from rep source

    if by b21, you mean b20, then yes. in short, most of the b series cranks are interchangeable. why someone would put a b20 crank into a b18 and drop their compression via huge ass gap between piston and head....only god knows

    he's talking b21a1 out of a prelude. I wouldn't think it would fit really. Then you have to think about the flywheel and the crank pulley if those would work as well. I wouldn't worry about it because the prelude b20a/b21a isn't the same as a b20b/z

    I forgot all about those things. Those preludes have that exceptional b series. Most of their parts are NOT interchangeable with other Bs
