don't force it. it has a groove in the cam that lines up with the gear on the dizzy...

^^ exactly what both of them said.

it will only go in one way, dont' force it. line it up with the grooves, if it doesn't fit. turn it 180 degrees and it should just pop right in.

and again. don't force it. it should take just a little nudge and it will go in.

so the dizzy isnt even touching the cam? like was said up top, just line up the fin and slide in but do not force.
i changed my dizzy in the summer time and it slid right in.

the fin or blade in lined up perfectly and its roughly 1/4in away from the cam and its not budging

my thought. the dizzy only goes on one way and is matched to the cam si it cannot go on wrong. i know last time i pulled mine off it didn't just slide back in but i didn't have to cram it in there. if you look in the hole at the cam you should be able to tell which side is which and sometimes the little booger will spin a little while installing, at that point you could rotate it back and forth a little so it will catch the groove, just don't use alot of force.
