keep yo big ass out of it lol
check the o2 sensors, or cat, it could be cloged. had that problem in my cobalt ss sc.
mine went out at 36000. some of them are just fualty from factory man
A yes wouldn't surprise me here so i'll ask
Is it leaking?
If all this checks out, take it to the dealership
i had awful milage for about a month then the light came on. you could try using a complete fuel system cleaner man
edit saw the updates. any vac leaks. good gas cap.
well what my friend told me a couple days ago if you want good gas mileage just dont drive it LOL...
Yeah temps good,heat is great
Yeah true It might be I'll have to check it out might be visiting the dealeship soon
Its not leaking it has no leaks it doesnt smoke or not at all that I can see,I am going to strap a light white cloth on her pipe to see how black it gets I have a suspision the ecu may be pushing too much fuel out...
nah i dont really trust those fuel system cleaners
To my knowledge, there are no vaccum leaks her isle is good, and when i do routine maintenance i never hear anything or smell anything
gotta drive it
"ecu pushing out too much fuel"?
Well yea, if it's rich you'll notice poor mpgs but that's not the cause.
It doesn't just do that, there has to be a reason for it to be rich. ie the vacuum leak barefoot suggested.
It should be under a factory warranty no matter who owns it now. I would take it in, they might have a re-flash for it. Possibly better fuel mileage and better performance.![]()

how many miles you getting out of a tank? I usually average around 300 or so.

I'd say o2 sensors would cause that much of a noticeable fuel lose. Unless there is something wrong with the fuel system.

idk but something is deffinitely wrong its eating gas like a damn 69 chevelle ss
You need to get actual miles to the tank information for us to understand how severe of a situation it is. My girl's Altima gets worse gas mileage than my old Impala and her car is in great working order, it's just that she drives ITP and is pretty aggressive, so a 2.4L gets about 21mpg. Also, are these numbers achieved around the time when we were getting ice and snow, my mpg's dropped by about four because of the slow safe driving and defrosting of windows and stuff.
