    which system does the P72 ecu run on, OBD1, or OBD2??

    That right there will determine which conversion harness you need, as your car is OBD2... The only next issue i could see you running into is whether its OBD2a or OBD2b. Just match whatever system the car's harness is, to whatever system the ecu is that you are wanting to run.

    I.E. OBD2a car harness ----> OBD1 ecu = purchase an OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness.
