Default CEL 17,22,45 97 civic with jdm gsr swap

I was driving down the road and then all off the sudden my CEL came on. I check the codes it was throwing and they are code 17 VSS speed sensor, 22 VTEC pressure valve and, 45 fuel system running to rich or lean. I am running a P73 ecu and it has never given me this problem until now....

Alright now my speedo doesn't work. So that explains why code 17 is going off ther (vss) I guess I will need to replace speed sensor now. Can I only use a speed sensor off of another b series tranny or can I use a D series?

Edit: Also vtec doen't engage anymore..

the speedo is causing all the problems, when its not working it will not hit vtec and then cause a lean or rich code....because its in limp mode... You will need to get the sensor for the year and model tranny...Sounds like you need a VSS for a OBDI B series if I am right if not get the right year one....Best of luck

I have a S4C non LSD tranny. I check the connector and it looks fine... as far as I know of the s4c came out of 99-00 si's so does that mean i need a 99-00 civic si vss?
