    Default In Georgia Does a 89 Honda Still Needs Emission?

    cause some people told me to take the title straight to the tags office and get my plates with no emission done..
    or is that just a lie?

    89 can still have a check engine light on and pass.... only 96 and newer fails if the light is on...I am not saying yours will pass but it can with the light on...

    my Camaro had the light on and passed the emissions. OBD1 is doesnt matter about 90% of the time. Just make sure the cat converter is good and you shouldnt have a problem.

    i know walton, bartow, floyd, and hall don't need emissions on this list, however emissions was supposed to be statewide by 2011. hopefully the govt drags it's feet and can't get organized enough by then. i enjoy being in non-emissions county now.

    yes it does need a emissions done on it, unless you are over 65 and you only drive 3,000 miles a year, or the car is a 85 and below, or its desail, or a truck or suv that waights over 10,000 pounds!

    Damn, the only thing I liked about living in Walnut Grove (Walton County) was no emissions and the liquor store....

    not always true. my bf kept failing and he put a converter on it and it still failed. could be a sensor throwing it off

    Okay ppl i went to get my emission test done & they sent me to 3 different places cause the computer couldnt pick up my Rpm? they said my rpm is too low?
    & i dont have a clue
