    Default Questions again on oil light

    Changed oil pressure sensor on block and change oil pump put a brand. new one on and I still have an oil light on and vtec don't work run down on the car
    gsr lsv turbo stock internals no oil sandwitch using a t off were the oil pressure sensor is and I'm running obd2 harness to a crossover obd1 ecu

    help appriciated

    id like to see what ur oil pickup looks like. check that screen out and also you solenoid-head screen also what is your idle? hear any rod knock?

    Oil pickup screen is clean not a bearing I just rebuilt it and I'll look at that screen were. Vtec is

    sounds like you didn't listen to me the first time so I will say this only one more time......

    Before replacing the oil sensor install a oil preasure Gauge on it and see if it is with in spec....Then replace the sensor......Also did you ground the oil sensor wire to see if your light is working correctly

    ok well. i just got an oil pressure guage yesterday and was going to try that today. but how do i ground the oil light to see if its working correctly to test that ?

    if you put the oil pressure on back of block and it reads ok then you need to check pressure @ the head (front port) to see if you have enough pressure there.

    what pan/pickup combination are you using? if the pan is too close to the pickup it'll cavitate and lose enough oil pressure to prevent vtec.

    Ok update oil pressure in head is low and I think I know the problem please correct me if wrong.. Since I pit the ls crank in I had to remove oil squarters and I didn't cap the holes off and that's what's hurting my oil pressure horribly and I need to go cap those oil squart (sp) holes off ?
