    Default ***** my cd and clock dont have power ???????

    oky so me and my friend changed out the dash to his car. we got every thing hook up and we hook up his cd player back on and try and boom no power to the dash clock and cd player.

    every thing still work all the lights work but no power to clock and cd player.
    we checked the fuse and even replace the fuse but still no power.

    any idea guys thanks

    update
    oky we try every re located the ground test the wires with the glowing stick and it do have power to the wires. i try to put it on every color wire. i d k but i thought red was for power but when i touched the red wire no lights but when i touch the orange one it light up any clues

    im thinking it could probably be a bad ground?

    um.. get one of those light testers, and ground one end, turn on your key, and touch the light tester to the power wires going to your stero, maybe your cd player is not getting power thats why it's not turning on, otherwise check your fuse again b/c right when it powers it can keep blowing your fuse. and yes check all your grounds.

    oky what i did..

    i took the cd player and put it in my bro car and it works. so i know the cd player is still good.

    what i need to do now is do the testing like what you guys say.

    also the ground should be good i can see it on the metal bar and it doesn't move

    theres a ground that u might miss. its a single wire on the dash harness that plugs behind the steering column area

    also for those having probs with the radio in a honda, there is a fuse under the hood labeled back up or radio back up, its like a 7.5 amp. Most of the time its just this one, but good job finding the prob. What did it end up being?

    hahaa LOL it was the DAMN fuse under the hood like you said haha thank for all the help guys
