    I need to order a clutch kit for my 88 hatch........i just pulled a tranny out of a 89 crx si........it's an L3......followed by some other numbers......I talked to a guy that owned the car it came out of and he said it was a ZC Si calble tranny.......i said what years was it made.....he didnt know...........so i dont know what year clutch kit to order..........any ideas from you Guru's? I appreciate all the help I can get and Happy New Year!

    Look at the input shaft. If there are no grooves on the pilot bearing part of the shaft it's an '88. 1 Groove, it's an 89. 2 grooves it's a 90-91.
