dont hammer it out, you will probably mess something up. Put some body filler in it and sand it down.
can you tell me how specifically...? : )
go buy some bondo from home depot or auto zone...buy some 80 and 180 grit sand paper. Scuff up the arear you are going to put the bondo on. Then apply the bondo. let it dry. Sand it with the 80 grit paper. When you start getting close the finished. Sand with the 180 grit. We could fix them for you if you bring it by the shop. Where are u located?
im in norcross, how much do u think its gonna be to paint in the dent also, u think touch-up works?
it would work, but look like crap. Price depends on how many dents, how big, where...do u have a pic of the dents?
ill post it tomorrow--thanks for all ur help btw
here are the pics...
yeah, nvm...i thought they were small. You cant fix that your self. The one looks like its creased and that will have to be hammered out and rework the wheel well part of the fender.
how much do you think it will cost? do you think paint will be needed?
paint yes big timeOriginally Posted by teggy 2nr
cant u just bang it out... the paint is not chipped or anything
Nah...your going to fuck up the paint when u hammer it out and then you will need to put some body filler on it. Sand that down the prime that area where the body filler is, then wet sand that. Scuff up the whole fender, spray your basecoat over the areas that need the paint then clear coat the whole thing.
sounds like a lot of work for 2 small dents... how much do u esimate it will cost?
around $150- $200 rough estimate
