Default FUCK ME I BROKE MY AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL FOR THE TEMP!

ok so yea, like the title says. i was pushing it to the left to adjust the temp before i left, and the fucking thing Broke, like the front swithc is still on the track on the vent housing and from what it looks like, the actual adjustment part is still on the track behind it. wll that shit just goes back and forth now with NO problem but doesnt do shit for adjusting the temp. i am sooooo pissed. i know its easy to remove the ac vents on the dash, but will i be able to fix the actual problem? im sooo fucking pissed right now

maybe you should sell your car and quit driving, you've got more problems you don't know how to fix than anyone on this board ??

You should still be able to reach around to the right side of the dash and move the lever on the blower motor.

If its the hot/cold you may need to check the valve under the hood too.

i put the piece that broke back together last night while i was at work and tried to reinstall it to see if it would work again. well. when i installed it and put the climate control cable back on the stud. it wouldnt budge. when i took the cable off, both the control lever and the actual valve under the dash would work and move freely. whats the cause of this? there seemed to be enough slack. could the cable not have been run properly? or is something maybe impeding its movement?

    cable HVAC FTL

Just reach behind the engine and turn the valve to hot for the time being.

You said you removed the entire cable and it moves freely? Is the heater control valve stuck?
