    Default Another honda question

So I was driving my 93 civic when the alternator belt flew off. I assumed that I could just replace the belt. When I went to replace It I noticed the belt was not goin on strait but I tightened it Down and turned the car on the belt Cale right off again and the crank pully was crooked... WTF? I have another pully but if I change it out will it fix the problem this has never happened to me before.

Take it off and see if it's bent 1st. If so replace it, if it's not then you sir have a problem. Check the alt piulley too and the bolts. Hope this helps.

are the belts breaking or coming off? If breaking alt might be locked up?
