need help speed hand

ok i was going down the interstate and i did a lil pull and i looked down to see how fast i was going and the speed hand was every where i was thinking faulty cluster or bad speed sensor let me know what yall may think before i go spending money for nothin

check for a loose connection at the speed sensor.

unplug and replug see if that works...

ok i unplugged it hit the plugs with a air gun and still nothing any more ideas

Sound like it maybe a bad sensor do you have any friends that would let you try theirs to troubleshoot?

bad sensor, bad cluster, bad ground at thermostat housing.

yea I will see if one of my friends will let me borrow theirs but can it be any b series tranny as long as its obd 1
