    Question 1994 F150 4x2 rear coil conversion

I have a 94 f150 that I want to lower a little and I was wondering if there are any rear coil conversion kits out there for this truck. I may just be misinformed but I believe the first gen. Lightning has rear coils, and if so I could get the suspension mounts for the lightning and put new coils and shocks on the truck. The main reason I'm interested is that I'm not to keen on keeping the leaves.

Thanks, that's what I figured I would have to do to lower the truck. Are there any ways to convert to coil though?

I figured it would handle better, but I don't know much about suspensions anyways.

You cant. Leaf spring trucks have the springs keeping the axle aligned with the frame. If you convert to coils, you need ladder bars, or a 4 link to align it.

Alot of work but the gains for a track car is well worth it (of course with your goddamn M you already know this, Fucking devil car ) ! I would never do it on a daily driver though, cost vs. everyday gains = Lose. Although I have plans on a griggs setup for my car, but then again it ain't no daily driver. Stock Fox Body Suspension = Suck.

    Talking Thanks.

Thanks guys, I'll just find a set of good leafs and coils and do it the easy way. I do want to put better shocks on it too. After all my truck is no track car it's just gonna be my muscly go-fast car once I get my civic.
