    Default 99 gsx-r750 antifreeze question?

I'm about to do a full tune up on both my bikes(oil, oil filters, spark plugs and air filters) and flush the cooling system on my 99 GSX-R750.

I've done plenty of oil changes but never messed with the coolant on a motorcycle.

My question is is there a certain antifreeze I need to use (in the GSX-R) or will any premix antifreeze work?

    Thanks

make sure it's prediluted or mix it 50:50....unless you just like working on bikes.

with my comment... Most people have common sense. The majority know to add water or use 50/50. Just go to autozone and buy a jug that mixes with anything.

yea my gsx-r gets really hot in the summer. I'm also going to run the water-wetter in my drz400 dualsport because of the trail riding I do. That thing gets hot as hell fighting threw mud and tight trails.

Doesn't have to be that way.

    I run a 70/30 80/20 mix in most my cars. water/coolant. It doesn't HAVE to be 50/50.

But I do agree, dexcool is SHIT ....UNLESS you change it very very regularly.

I had some soft grippy 80/20 tires put on my drz and that thing would fly around some corners up in the mountains. Right now I have full on dirt bike tires on it for winter trail riding. In fact I took it out yesterday to a abandon construction site and found a swamp in the tall grass. Its covered in weeds and mud from top to bottom.

There really fun bikes to play with but the only thing is, I wish it was lighter.
