IIRC the DOHC D16A1 (USDM 1.6l DOHC MOTOR found in the pre 90 integra) will swap to a SOHC block, but the benefit is almost nothing. YOu are better off doing a SOHC VTEC head, or swapping a SOHC ZC motor in.
The DOHC ZC motor is NOT THE SAME as the PRE 90 INTEGRA MOTORS

its was just a question because my buddy brought it up & said something about getting more power out of the head swap then what ive currently got with my d16z6 sohc vtec....
so will the dohc head fit on the sohc block? i want to know!!!

whats the "hp" & "trq" ratio compared to my d16z6?

maybe only 2 lbs ase but from what i have studied with that head and pistons from the same motor it would be a pretty good bump in compression tell me if the honda builder bible is wrong and ill read it again, but if its easy and ups the power isnt it worth it sometimes? like i said tell me if i wrong.
