    Alright. As far as I know it hasn't been beat on. The current owner is a chick and I know the previous owner and he takes good care of his stuff.
    How do I check the motor mounts?

    pretty much just look at them. If they look old/cracked, and or when you rev the engine a little and you can see it moving, it may be time for them to be replaced. Not neccesarily though, only if the rocking is excessive.

    you can check your mounts by pulling the e brake and putting it in 1st gear and easily moving the car in 1st gear very carefully without moving.. do the same in reverse.. this ensures that the transmission mount and motor mounts are not moving too much.
