97 gsr over heating

so my new car is a 97 gsr and when i get on it, it starts to over heat and the over flow bolt starts boiling, but its not throwing a check engine light and there is no oil around the head... What could it be??

You probably still have trapped air inside, if it was the head gasket the coolant would be mixing with the oil and you'll be seeing a particular cloud of smoke coming from your exhaust besides noticing the obvious signs

a buddy told me that it could be the relay for the fan, because his teg did the same thing and it was the relay so i guess that will be the first thing that i do... And the car doesnt over heat when in just driving it, just when i get on it hard

you can test it by bridging it or smell the fuse to see if it smells burnt

i was going to switch the a/c relay, because there the same relay, if i smell it burned up and i want to say thank to everyone that is thereing to help me out
