    Default building a d16y8 ????

    what should i do and what are my options vs. horsepowervs. reliability for DD.


    i am new to honda build so just help me out!!!

    its a low compression motor
    you wanna build it to where it can handle boost
    stock connecting rods are weak

    if you go NA
    for budget you can do a Frankenstein motor with different parts from other D series motor
    if you dont care about budget: buy expensive shit lol

    if going turbo
    VITARAS! pistons rods and all that crap for the block..upgrade that
    do a few things with the head like pnp, upgrade valve train

    fuel and spark upgrades help
    thats what my ideas were for my D series

    so to turbo my car i need to replace internals? Whats the reliability for a turbo DD?
