well i guess when you're getting on it, something is causing the motor to misfire. do you have an OEM ignition (no msd external coil, etc)? when's the last time you changed your plugs and wires?

like i said i'm no expert but this is the stuff to check out in this situation...start with the easy stuff and work backwards till you figure it out
