D16Y8 DISTRIBUTOR QUESTION!!!

I HAD A EG WITH A D16Z6 MOTOR N NOW I HAVE A OBD2 D16Y8 BUT IT WONT TURN ON!! EVERYTHING SOUNDS GOOD ALL THE SPARK PLUGS ARE ON RIGHT BUT MY DISTRIBUTOR ONLY LINES UP WITH ONE BOLT SINCE IM RUNNING AN OBD1 HARNESS AND P28 ECU! COULD THAT DISTRIBUTOR NOT LINING UP GOOD WITH ALL THE OTHER HOLES BE MY PROBLEM OR WHAT DISTRIBUTOR DO I NEED! SOME PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME TO RUN A NON VTEC DISTRIBUTOR N IT WILL WORK FINE BUT WONT THAT AFFECT VTEC ITSELF OR TIMING!! I DUNNO MUCH ABOUT CARS BUT I KNOW PEOPLE IN HERE DO SO LEMME KNOW WHAT U GUYS THINK OR WHAT SHOULD I CHECK FOR!!

CUZ THE Y8 DISTRIBUTOR HAS ONE PLUG N MY OTHER OBD1 HAS 2 PLUGS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO????

lol is the wires dude i had the same problem before. but i think the z6 dizzy fits go for it

u need to eather run ur obd1 harness, ecu nd dizzy or u gota use all the obd2 stuff.

the cps is in the rong place right now with what ur doing.

if you got a y8... use the y8 dizzy and buy and distributor harness adapter from rywire....
