    Default Gas guage

Every time I fill up my car the gas gauge only goes a little pass half a tank. Anyone know how to fix this so that when I fill it up it actually shows a full tank in the cluster? I have a 94 rs

are you sure that you are not just cutting off at a little over half a tank?

2 things i can think of is your rheostat in the tank is fucked up. the arm is in the tank is getting stuck.

either sending unit or gauge is broken. Only 2 real possible solutions man.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

Most likely sending unit. You can remove and check the resistance and see if it is bad. That is a pretty common thing.

i would think that a bad sending unit would read at one solid point all the time. he says that it fills up to half tank which would mean that the sending unit is sending out a signal. either the tank ventilation is messed up causing him to shut off at half tank, or his float arm isn't extending all the way up with the gas level.
