    Default Removing door handle

    ok so im doing a power window conversion. and i need to take the door handle out for my key on both doors. having a little trouble taking it off though. I took both the 10mm bolts that hold it down already. And the little u shaped spring clip thing. can any1 put a pic up and explain how to take it off? +reps for fast help

    theres a special tool to take the clip out..if not then use a L shapped pick tool and pick it out..theres a few different type of clips they use in handles.
    harbor freight sells a set for $5.99.

    Just dont lose the clip.

    If you look up just inside the little bracket that surrounds the lock there is a u shaped clip that holds it in,take a L shaped pic tool put it in where the notch is on the bracket once you get a hold on it ,it should come right out that's what's holding your handle.
