    Default thermostat location on b20

    my engine is just running cold so i im assumin the thermostat is stuck open, im going to replace it. but i need to know the location of it. is it on the exit hose of the radiator on the top of the block or the bottom hose?

    connected to the metal water line that runs under the intake manifold...

    At the end of the lower radiator hose, in between the intake manifold and the engine.

    the bottom radiator hose where it connects to the block. this isn't the one for a b20, but its verry similar.

    remove the 3(i think) bolts and take it off. the therm is on the inside. just rem how it goes it.

    thanks man i appreciate it, i jumped to a conclusion earlier today so i couldnt get to it. but ill get to it as soon as possible car is still runnin fine, just needs to get the thermostat replaced asap! i dont have to remove ALL thouse damn hoses though do i?

    not at all just the hose running to it other people do but ive never had to

    just take the 2 10mm bolts out with hose on pull on hose and put in new thermo in and gasket then re assemble. and on some the ground may be on there and some are on back of housing. no need to remove hoses.
