I think it was to say that because you don't know every car or every item Honda has given to the motoring world, you cant like a Honda which is totally false.
My stand point comes from people who only associate Honda with certain tuner trends instead of what they are as cars as a whole. For example, i'd own a perfectly stock Integra Type R based on the fact it makes a great drivers car. Not because some might think it looks good with some pink rota wheels.
Knowing history of brands is a bonus but never necessary. Just know a little bit about what you own.

The first post was to get others to post on it and i could explain it how i did in the post where i used the Honda / Lola F1 car.

I would drive a stock Type R teg ANYDAY man! BUT!!! i dont have TYPE R teg money.. so i got this lil BS four door.. but put a lil bit of money into it and NOW i can beat a ITR in most cases.
