    Default water water

my brother-n-law had sucked some water to his motor? he had a two piece cold air intake and he's guessing he sucked in some water. Told me that when he starts the car, it sounds worst than a muscle car. any suggestions?

take out the spark plugs, and turn the engine over a few times... if you caught it soon enough itll spew all the water out, otherwise your doomed lulz

I had this happen to me about 3 months ago.

I had a CAI and sucked in ALOT of water.

Take the plugs out, crank the motor few times to throw out all the water. Left it over night(I dont think you need to do this, but its better if you do). Cranked it few more times next day, got the remaining water out(I wouldn't say water, but I cranked it few more times for the safety of it). Got new plugs, Changed the oil(oil was like milk, I thought i was done). After changing my oil, new plugs, water out, the motor turned over and car was runing, rpms were jumping up and down. I changed the oil again(again oil was milky). Thank god, after the second oil in and out, my oil was back to normal, and to this day no problems thank god) Had to get new MAF sensor, and i went back to stock intake. Did all this and my car ran strong after that, as if I cleaned it out and its running better than before.

And to add some extra, if you guys tried turning the engine over after he sucked the water in, most likely you guys are done. But do what I did, you might have same luck as me.

I dont even wana mention how much water was in my turbo inlet, O_O homeless man could've taken a shower.
