needing some mx-3 swap info

im looking to get a MX-3,and im leaning torwards the B6 to BP swap.

got a few questions though,im looking at the BP-ZE,seems to be the best n/a BP motor.,this motor is the same as the 94+ miata engine,right?

so all these miata engine parts will interchange.

and im looking for a step by step write up to this swap.

Go find a Protege. Transmission and all. What are you trying to do with it? There's been some guys with the miatas to put down 170whp all motor or better. The motors like boost stock, though.

id just be going for nice DD with ok power,so yea BP making round 150whp or little more would be fine.

im looking for a new project,and im really a fan of MX-3s......but i might get another domestic.

just kinda looking at different things.

The SOHC B6 to BP swap is super easy. Best advice, find a donor car (90-94 Protege LX)to ge the ECU and harness from. Everything else bolts up to factory locations.

BTW- 150WHP on an N/A BP is VERY difficult.
